Nothing to track,
nothing to hide.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. Here is exactly what happens when you visit it or write to us, and under which terms you can reuse what is on it.

1. Who is responsible
This site is published by Singularity, an independent, non-commercial research project. For anything about your data or this page, use the “Write to us” button at the bottom of every page: it opens an email already addressed to us.
2. What happens when you visit
No cookies, no tracking, no accounts. The site stores nothing on your device, uses no analytics, advertising or social plugins, and shows no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Everything is served from this site. Fonts, scripts, images and data are hosted here; your browser does not contact Google, content networks or social networks while you read.
Hosting. The pages are delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), through its Cloudflare Pages service and network. Like any web server, it necessarily processes technical data — your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — to deliver the site and protect it from attacks and abuse. This is based on our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor under its data processing addendum, which covers transfers to the United States with the safeguards required by the GDPR. We have not enabled Cloudflare analytics, and we do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors. Cloudflare's own policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
3. When you write to us
The “Write to us” button and the icons next to it only open a new message in the email service you choose (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or your device's mail app). Nothing is sent until you press send yourself.
If you write, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use them only to reply and to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We never sell or share them, never add you to a mailing list, and delete the conversation when it is no longer needed, at the latest twelve months after the last exchange, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Our mailbox is hosted by Google (Gmail).
4. Share buttons and links
The share buttons on forecast cards are plain links. Nothing is sent to any social network while you read: only if you click one does your browser open that network's own share page (X, LinkedIn, Reddit, WhatsApp or Telegram), and from then on its privacy policy applies. “Copy link” works entirely inside your browser.
Links to OpenAlex, arXiv or other sites open those sites, which have their own policies. We are not responsible for their content.
5. People in the data
The forecasts are computed from open bibliographic metadata (OpenAlex and arXiv, released under CC0). Authorship links are used only as anonymous counts; no researcher is named on this site, and the “people” shown on the Atlas are numbers of authors, not individuals. Clicking a work opens its public record on OpenAlex.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format — just write to us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
The site is not directed at children.
7. Reusing our work

- Code published with the studies: free to reuse under the MIT licence.
- The name and the emblem identify the project: please do not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your work.
- Titles of scientific works shown on forecast cards belong to their authors; they are quoted only to identify the work, with a link to its public record.
8. Credits
- Data: OpenAlex (CC0) and arXiv metadata (CC0).
- Fonts: Inter and JetBrains Mono, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (Inter licence, JetBrains Mono licence).
- Atlas rendering: deck.gl, under the MIT licence (licence).
9. No advice, no guarantee
Forecasts are statistical estimates measured on past data, not promises, and not medical, financial, investment or career advice. Our studies are preprints that have not been peer-reviewed. We check what we publish carefully, but the site is provided as it is; if you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it in the open.
10. Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
